This program is built around the comparative research of early modern, modern and contemporary history. It invites students to explore a broad range of topics and historical periods using the tools of global, intellectual, cultural, and social history.
The program encourages you to explore a multitude of scholarly approaches and disciplines, including oral history, historical anthropology, intellectual history, conceptual history, microhistory, urban history and gender history.
Since the program is short and intense, it is best suited for students who have a relatively clear idea for a thesis topic.
